Case Study

Objective

St Johns and Clayton Square shopping centres approached Pulse to deliver a search for ‘Liverpool’s Next Top Model’. This competition would take place over a four week period, concluding with an outdoor fashion show, featuring professional Pulse models and competition finalists.

Pulse Promise

Pulse assigned a team of model scouts who would look to find the male and female finalists. This was heavily backed with a radio campaign. All entries were uploaded to both shopping centres and Radio City’s website. This generated great media hype and resulted in many hits to both sites, creating a ‘talk ability’ factor and getting people excited for the main event. From thousands of entries Pulse selected a final 12 potential models to appear in the finale fashion show.

Pulse produced, managed and choreographed a ten scene outdoor fashion event and were responsible for stage design, music edit, sourcing of props, script writing, stock control, front and backstage management, stylists and presenters for the event. Pulse booked two choreographers, one to work with the professional Pulse child and dancer models, and another to train and nurture the 12 finalists. The end result was an inspiring and entertaining fashion show that drew crowds from all over the city.

Post event Pulse worked with St Johns and Clayton Square Shopping Centres on mood boards and concepts for their new Autumn/Winter campaign. Pulse creative team were then appointed to make the campaign a reality. The two finalists were prepped in anticipation of the photographic shoot. Pulse child models, stylist, photographer, creative director, hair and make-up technicians worked with the new models to produce a fantastic campaign.
